On 18 May Abby had her 7th Rez Day. She said she didn’t want to make a big deal out of it, and also both our RL situations sometimes make it hard to meet at pre planned times so it’s difficult to organise a party. Our friends live in different time zones too, so most of what we do in SL is spontaneous.

But of course I wanted to do a little something for her, so as well as giving Abby a few gifts I set up a little surprise at home. When she logged in I took her down to our beach where a new walkway extended out to sea leading to a little platform I had set up. I took Abby by the hand and led her up the steps.

We popped the cork on a bottle of champagne, ate some cake (yum!) and then we kissed. Happy Rez day my darling ❤️

After plenty of birthday kisses we turned the music up and danced till the sun went down.

Despite the challenges we find a way to spend some time together each day. I hope our little celebration helped to make Abby’s day feel special.
